Winter Fuel Payments
Payment to Prepayment Customers on the Carefree Register
Last year, ScottishPower took mitigating action against the impact the October 2005 price increase would have on the most vulnerable customers. For those customers who paid by pre-payment meter who were also on the Carefree Priority Services Register, ScottishPower provided them with a £30 payment to help towards reducing their fuel costs. This year, taking into account the rising cost of energy, ScottishPower will give this same group of customers a £50 payment.
