Project Summary:
CAP is a national debt counselling charity that offers hope to vulnerable and disadvantaged families. The project aims to part fund the salary costs for the centre managers at 3 new debt-counselling centres in Macclesfield, Fleetwood and Scarborough. The centre managers who make initial visits, sort through client’s finances, compile financial statements and establish CAP accounts as well as liaise with the council, water and energy suppliers to establish affordable payments are pivotal to the success of the centre and CAP’s service.
