Project Summary:

The aim of Affordable Warmth Access Referral Mechanism (AWARM) is to combine access to grants and schemes, energy efficiency advice and information with access to Credit Union facilities, maximising income through welfare benefits and reducing household outgoings. AWARM will work by delivering training to front line home visiting staff to identify the fuel poor and then provide a system to allow the easy triggering of a range of intervention measures including Warm Front/EE grants, benefits checks and credit union services etc.
