North Staffordshire Warm Zone

Project Summary:

The North Staffordshire Warm Zone is requesting funding for their Access to Benefits and Claim Support project. The NSWZ already provide energy efficiency advice and measures as part of their core service. The funding will allow them to continue adding value to the project as it will enable them to keep employing a full time Benefits Advisor to provide a comprehensive income maximisation service over a period of 18 months from April 2008. It is estimated that a third of all homes in the area are in fuel poverty.
